COMMISSION YOUTH GROUP
Commission Youth Group at Grace In Community Church exists to help teens live a passionate life for Jesus Christ. Our name, Commission, is based on Matthew 28:19-20. We are dedicated to serving the Lord in our schools & communities by spreading the Gospel. Our Youth Group Ministry places a strong emphasis on equipping each young person to develop a close personal relationship with the Holy Spirit so that we can receive direction from Him in our own personal ministries. This, as taught, requires being in communion with the Holy Spirit and seeking His wisdom. In seeking His wisdom, we are passionate, believe our lives have purpose, and seek to use our spiritual gifting in serving Jesus Christ.
Commission Youth Group has committed itself to be an “army of God” - obviously not a military army, but rather one that effects change in Western New York so that we may take our area for the Kingdom of God by leading unsaved young people to Jesus.
Commission believes that each individual Christian, regardless of age or gifting, can do the Lord’s will. Joel 2:28-29 and Jeremiah 1:6-8 reveal this important message to us.
